Antique personal seal gray agate stone with ancient inscription Hebrew letters saying “באל שדי” in the name of G-D. 17th century , found in the middle east.
Dimension 1.1 cm X 1.7 cm X 0.4 cm approximately.
In ancient times, because of illiteracy , one used to have his own symbol as a substitute for signature. There were different kinds of personal seals , some were made in stones, silver or gold metals and semi precious stones. The engraving on seal could be a name or a phrase or an animal.
