The Hamsa Khamsa Chamsa is considered in this era as an amulet to protect from the evil eye. Its name Hamsa chamsa or Khamsa derives fro the Arabic language five. It is also known as the famous “Fatima Hand”( the daughter of Muhamad) it has the palm shape hand. It is well known all over the middle East to wear a Hamsa as jewelry or have it hung on your home walls , so for protection against the evil eye. There are many theories as for its origin, as ancient Carthage (Tunisia) or ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia (Iraq).
