Druze Qalamkari table cloth , literally means “pen work ” is a multiple process to create design for cloth fabrics. The process for creating cloth, has multiple steps.  First stiffening cloth by using all kind of organics and vegetables as buffalo milk and then dry in the sun. Next step is by drawing designs by using red, black, brown, and violet outlining the desired subjects over cloth. The cloth is then covered with wax, except for the parts to be dyed blue, and placed in an indigo bath. Afterwards, the wax is scraped off and the areas to be yellow or pale green are painted by hand. The designs are usually hand carved on wooden printing patterns and then dipped in the desired colors and printed on fabric and colored again. Druze Qalamkari table cloth are two different methods of weaving fabrics for daily use.
