The Hamsa Khamsa Chamsa is considered in this era as an amulet to protect from the evil eye. Its name Hamsa chamsa or Khamsa derives fro the Arabic language five. It is also known as the famous "Fatima Hand"( the daughter of Muhamad) it has the palm shape hand. It is well known all over the middle East to wear a Hamsa as jewelry or have it hung on your home walls , so for protection against the evil eye. There are many theories as for its origin, as ancient Carthage (Tunisia) or ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia (Iraq). One can see on antiquities of the mentioned countries many home ornaments with the protecting Hamsa hand. It is containing usually a symbolic blue eye in center. One can add the word Hamsa verbally in a discussion , once he feels menaced by a said his adversary. In Jewish spiritualism there is notable amount of use of the hand in amulets and manuscripts. It is being used mostly by Sephardi Jews in the past two centuries.. In the Torah there are many references to the "Hand of G-D"  " Strong Hand" "Right Hand". During centuries there was an evolving jewelry industry to create Hamsa design for that purpose. The same was for wall decorations. Star of David is known in Hebrew Magen David  or the Shield of David is a generally recognized symbol of modern  Jewish identity and Judaism.  Its shape is made by 2 triangles  forming a hexagram, combination of two  equilateral triangles.  The star of David has been adapted into a variety of many culture, but in different meanings. The fact that in a triangle each of The three corners of the triangles are connected with each other .  It demonstrates that the Jewish soul is itself knotted to G‑d Through the Torah study and observance. By that connection between the Jew and G‑d and the Torah study it merely brings it to light.
